Nordica Fertility School - For doctors

Background

The aim of this Fertility School is to introduce new and experienced gynecologists in the fertility field. The aim is also to sharpen the knowledge and skills of trained professionals, who want to brush up in the ART. The Fertility School follows the newest standards and treatment modalities in the fertility field. In the Fertility School the participants will discuss all aspects of ART with active scientists and clinicians with many years experience and pioneers within the field.

General IVF program

The Fertility School comprises seminars of 4 days in which the participants will be involved in formal teaching lessons and discussions.

The schedule for the IVF training is as follows:

Day 1 (Monday)

10.00 - 10.30 OPU

10.30 - 11.30 From oocyte to blastocyst - Mette Munk

11.30 - 12.00 ET - Mette Munk

12.00 - 13.00 Lunch

13.00 - 14.30 Pitfalls in aspiration, summary of what you should not do - Suzan Lenz

                    Transfer technique. Use of full bladder. Let the patient do the scan - Suzan Lenz

14.30 - 15.00 Coffee

15.00 - 16.00 Ultrasound monitoring, with different stimulation protocols, understanding follicular size and correlation with the endometrium - Dr. Suzan Lenz

                    Scanning of the testis, size and eccopatern explains low count. Epidydimal changes and correlation with interfection.

16.00 - 17.00 Early pregnancy, diagnosis and problems in ART, what can we use the ultrasound and the HCG for in prognosis of early pregnancy, CSV

                    and amniocentesis - S.S.Jensen

 

Day 2 (Tuesday)
